![]() ![]() We are seeking submissions on a variety of topics including:
Wellness- any alternative forms of healthcare- acupuncture, reflexology, massage, homeopathics, meditation, yoga etc. with a focus on how God created our bodies to be healthy and self-healing with proper care. Natural home and body care- toxic free products, organization and cleaning ideas etc. Meals and food choices- recipes, information, news on eating choices. Information on any type of eating style is welcome- vegan, vegetarian, traditional foods for example, with a focus on eating food God created vs. food concocted in a lab. Organic, local, free range etc. Sustainability- composting, renewable energy, shopping local, and any other green living topics Family life- marriage, work/family balance, non-traditional families Any other general Christian topic as long as it relates to natural living. Submissions must meet the following criteria: Be submitted by a professing Christian. Along with your submission, please also send a brief summary of your testimony or profession of faith, a short bio, and a link to your blog or website if you have one. We welcome submissions from members of all denominations and those who do not attend any church, as long as you profess to be have a personal relationship with Jesus. Be well researched and include citations to studies and sources for quotes. Be personal, but appeal to the reader. Be easy to read, but not dumbed down. In general, keep politics or denomination specific references out of your submissions. The exception to this would be if a current law or policy is affecting an aspect of natural living, for example state breastfeeding laws or the FDA’s stance on a particular health product. Another exception is if your submission is a personal story, for example, a Catholic woman’s homebirth story with a mention of her prayer to a saint during labor. Submissions can be articles, personal stories, essays, idea lists or any other format. Compensation: We understand that your writing is valuable and you deserve to be compensated for your writing. However, at this time, we are a startup e-zine with limited funds. Currently, the only compensation is the joy of seeing your writing published and knowing that your story or article may encourage or inform another believer. Additionally, if you have a website or product that meets our criteria, we will provide free advertising for 6 months following the publication date of the issue that includes your submission. As this e-zine grows and we add a print version, we will begin to provide monetary compensation for submissions and start looking for staff writers. Those who have been previously published in these first few issues will be considered first for the available positions.
